Sexy high school classmates tackle their mid-term sociology class assignment to research a serial killer and, in a twist of fate, find themselves face to face with the vicious monster.
Tim wakes up every day with an intense preoccupation: the serial killer who has been terrorizing his city for the past several years. Tim’s obsession stems from a deep and personal hatred of the man known as “The Forehead Killer,” who four years earlier shot and critically injured his mother, an LAPD detective assigned to the case.
Tim’s other obsession in life is Jean, the most beautiful girl in school. Tim is low on the high school’s food chain but still dreams that Jean will one day fall in love with him.
It isn’t until their teacher pairs them up to research “The Forehead Killer” that Tim has the guts to make a move… but his dream-come-true quickly turns into a living nightmare. As the two teenagers dig deeper to find the truth, clues reveal that the psychopathic killer may be closer to them than they thought. As Tim delves deeper into his obsessions, he begins to develop his own violent fantasies and inadvertently puts his loved ones in jeopardy.
The killer kidnaps Jean and holds her hostage in his basement – a dark and horrifying room filled with trophies he removed from the bodies of his past victims. While coming to Jean’s rescue, both Tim and his mother are also captured by the killer. It all ends in a bloody standoff between Tim and the killer – where the boy must face his deepest fears and come to terms with his true identity.
